HARVEST PERIOD : First ten days in October
VINIFICATION PROCESS : The clusters are hand-harvesed and then gently pressed, without use of SO2. The must is femented in steel for 12-15 day at a controlled tempeature of ca. 20oC. The wine then rests on the fine lees in steel for 3 years.
SENSORY PROFILE : The very high quality of the growing year allowed us to select small lots, from both current-vintage Verdicchio as well as the Riserva, and the final blend was given a very lengthy maturation in steel in order to improve the wine’s cellarability, well before release.
SERVING TEMPERATURE : Ca. 10-12°C
PRODUCTION QUANTITY : Ca. 6,500 750 ml bottles
CELLARING POTENTIAL : 10 years, with a potential for significant additional complexity
